A decent turnout for the day’s feature. Former Ballydoyle inmate U S S Michigan made a promising start for new connections when runner-up at Newcastle. Nao Da Mais is tried in blinkers but this looks too short for the French import. Inigo Jones won here just over a year ago and has been gelded since last seen but the handicapper has given a chance to the enigmatic GROUP ONE POWER and he won first-time up last season. Forest Falcon looks the pick of the two Johnstons’ entries and is also preferred to the returning Trawlerman.
