Verdict

PADDY A has won off a higher mark over course and distance in the past and last week’s fourth at Newcastle suggests a return to winning ways is imminent. He’s partnered by a leading amateur and so is Maraakib and he slips further down the weights with Serena Brotherton taking over the reins. German Whip is another on the slide though hasn’t raced since Boxing Day but Ted's Brother finished runner-up the last time he competed over track and trip.
