Verdict

A nice prize on offer with WAR GLORY (NAP) expected to make another bold bid having won a similar contest over track and trip a fortnight ago from an outside draw. Richard Hannon’s colt won despite not getting a clear run on that occasion and can confirm running with both Firmament and Habub. Lethal Lunch narrowly beat Diocles Of Rome at Kempton before beaten at Ascot but the latter re-opposes on slightly better terms while Piece Of History represents last year’s winning yard, though will need to improve on recent efforts to figure in this grade. Turn 'n Twirl and Sonja Henie are others upped in class though both arrive in good form.
