Welliesinthewater is not particularly well drawn but this represents a drop in class for Derek Shaw's charge, who is certainly worth a second look. However, he only beat PLUCKY DIP (NAP) by three-quarters-of-a-length at Doncaster in June and the latter is now 4lb better off. John Ryan's five-year-old has won three times over this trip on artificial surfaces and a recent third at Yarmouth, when ahead of the re-opposing Twin Point, was a welcome return to form. Jammy Guest is back on a winning mark so can't be ignored while recent Musselburgh second Like No Other won by six lengths on Tapeta in June. But Nouvelli Dancer now looks too high in the ratings after a couple of wins in August.
