In depth

Verdict

Morlock made a winning start at Kempton before struggling in Group 3 company at Newmarket. But he’s penalised for that earlier success and RUA AUGUSTA (NAP) makes more appeal given a recent third over track and trip is working out well with the winner subsequently landing a Listed race and the runner-up also scoring. Main Street made only a modest debut at Newmarket but Willie John is the second foal of the high-class Izzi Top so preferred to fellow newcomers Red Striker and Welsh Lord.
