    Verdict

    BRASCA has now won both starts at this venue having scored with any amount in hand over course and distance a week ago. A 6lb penalty is unlikely to anchor him in this and Ralph Beckett’s charge is hard to oppose. Withoutdestination can be excused a poor effort in soft going last time having found only one too good over track and trip before that. He missed an engagement at Kempton yesterday and is preferred to recent Newmarket runner-up Australis.
