In depth

Verdict

Roger Varian has returned to form in tremendous fashion in recent weeks and it will not surprise should his NINE TALES land a three-timer. Admittedly, he's not looked the most straightforward on his two wins this term but has still shown sufficient resolution to prevail in close finishes and should improve further with experience. Course and distance winner Baba Reza shaped well on a first start for the Camacho team and is dangerous as he's shown all his best form on artificial surfaces. Crimson Sand is steadily receiving some respite from the handicapper and check out what the market makes of Sands Of Time on her first run for two days shy of a year.
