In depth

Verdict

A 2.5 million guineas purchase as a yearling, Hydrogen was well beaten at Newmarket on his only start of last year and boasts no fancy entries so far. It remains to be seen how much ability he possesses and HONOURABLE ACTION looks a safer bet. The latter went very close when third at Lingfield last time and is preferred to Mister Rockandroll, second over 1m4f recently and dropping back down in distance. Duchess Of Marmite is facing a tougher task than when beaten a head over track and trip on her debut but is not easily dismissed with improvement likely.
