        Verdict

        Carvelas is usually thereabouts without winning and finished behind BOSCASTLE when the latter was beaten only a nose over track and trip in August. Hughie Morrison’s filly looks capable of opening her account in a weak handicap on that effort. Majeste was narrowly beaten over a mile at Ayr last week having plummeted down the weights and could be in the mix if lasting home while Glorious Asset won off a higher mark last year and Silvestre De Sousa takes over the reins today.
