        Verdict

        ARNARSON took advantage of a slide down the weights with last week’s five-length victory at Wolverhampton. Ed Dunlop’s colt is taken to strike again while the iron is hot and defy a penalty. Several of today’s opposition have been thereabouts recently including Lingfield fourth Espresso Freddo and Paradise Lake, a runner-up in a maiden race at the same track last time. Amazing Grazing wasn’t beaten far when placed over 6f at Southwell but top weight Cainhoe Star remains 6lb higher than October’s success at Kempton.
