Verdict

POWER OF STATES bids for a fourth straight course and distance success having dead-heated with Arij a week ago. That pair finished six lengths ahead of the rest and Hugo Palmer’s charge is taken to defy a penalty. Big Country has shout on an earlier second off a similar mark here and Mostawaa could go well again after placing at Newcastle, though both earlier wins came over a mile. Global Art is upped in class and 7lb higher than when scoring at the track in September.
