        Verdict

        The winning run of Hammer Gun came to an end at Kempton last month and he’s been upped a further 4lb. Welliesinthewater failed in his bid for a hat-trick of course wins when well beaten off a similar mark last time and it could pay to stick with THAT IS THE SPIRIT. He just held on when making all over track and trip recently but that was his first start since November and David O’Meara’s charge is taken to confirm running with Viscount Barfield, Outer Space and Loyalty. Mount Tahan still looks high enough in the weights and was beaten by the selection at Ayr last year.
