Verdict

The betting suggested TOUMAR could make a winning start at Wolverhampton and Roger Varian's filly duly landed the odds with the minimum of fuss - she looks the one to beat in this. Dual course and distance winner Theydon Grey ran well in a higher grade here a fortnight ago and is closely matched with Ice Royal on recent form but this is much tougher than the handicap Manjaam finished second in last month. Both Blacklister and Theos Lolly won maiden races last time but also need more in this company.
