        CRIMSON SAND should be in the mix again having won over track and trip before finishing runner-up in a higher grade sprint back at this venue. George Rooke’s allowance may give him the edge today. Great News is creeping closer and headgear is applied having just missed out at Brighton but Pontefract third Cottam Lane debuts on the all-weather and Nigel Nott returned a beaten favourite here a fortnight ago. Rock Boy Grey will be sharper for last month’s comeback run while Yimou is not badly treated but has yet to win on the all-weather.
