        Verdict

        The progressive KING KEVIN (NAP) has now won four of his last five starts, including a course and distance success, having produced a late flourish to win at Wolverhampton last time. He may well defy a further 6lb rise on that evidence. Shamrokh escapes a penalty having won an apprentices’ race over a mile here last week but Hard Toffee is upped in class after placing over track and trip. Red Hot Chilly finished a bit closer last time but has yet to win while Golden Nectar remains unexposed but hasn’t raced since last summer.
