    Verdict

Old Port’s earlier victory at Wolverhampton came over a longer trip while Chichester went close over a mile at Southwell. Fantastic Fox debuts on the all-weather having placed in heavy going at Newbury while the less exposed NATURAL WORLD returns from an absence. Charlie Appleby’s charge finished behind more strongly fancied stablemates on a couple of occasions back in July but gets a speculative vote given his yard’s current form. United Front landed a double at this time last year but Via Serendipity has yet to win over this far.
