In depth

Verdict

LOST THE MOON has a 10lb hike to contend with but won by six lengths over track and trip in December and both placed horses have subsequently won. She’s the one to beat on her return. Eurato went close behind Start Seven at Wolverhampton earlier but never looked like catching the same horse last time while Clovelly Bay attempts this longer trip for the first time having finished runner-up over 1m4f at Wolverhampton. Icebuster is back on a winning mark now and finished a bit closer at Lingfield recently but Duck A L'orange remains 6lb higher than last year’s success at Newmarket.
