BOWERMAN (NAP) has been off the track since landing the odds in a maiden race at Kempton back in April. But Roger Varian’s colt beat no less than five subsequent winners on that occasion, including the progressive Ply, so he gets the vote to make a winning return. Sibilance made a winning seasonal debut at Kempton and ran well in a classified event at Ascot in October while Belgian Bill was narrowly beaten in this grade on his penultimate start.
