In depth

Verdict

Uncle Dick had been in winning form at Brighton before beaten on the all-weather while Cariad makes a quick reappearance under a penalty having won convincingly over track and trip three days ago. Clipsham Gold scored off a similar mark at Kempton earlier in the year but INVERLOCHY has the most scope of these and gets the vote with last month’s comeback run at Lingfield under her belt.
