Hardington was well beaten on his earlier attempt at today’s trip albeit on soft ground. He has something to prove over 1m2f now as does Rubensian. Possible Future was not beaten that far when only fifth at Leicester though never looked like winning. He’s preferred to handicap newcomer Stamford Raffles, but THE MAJOR (NAP) makes most appeal. Placed twice over 1m2f at Beverley, he went close again when runner-up at Lingfield last time and looks up to winning off his current mark.
