Verdict

Peter The Great gets a change of headgear having come out second best in a fight to the line over track and trip last time. Imperial Sands is fitted with cheekpieces after a poor effort at Windsor while POWER OF STATES (NAP) finished last of six in a tougher contest at Kempton. But Hugo Palmer’s charge wasn’t beaten far off a slow pace on that occasion and this should be run more to his liking. Sharpcliff continues his good progress when scoring here on his reappearance but is upped a couple of grades while Diderot has something to prove over this far.
