Verdict

Breden has been raised 5lb for winning at Kempton last month and Greatest Journey is penalised for last week’s success over a longer trip at Wolverhampton. The latter reportedly lost a shoe when below par over track and trip back in September when Restive Spirit finished fourth behind runner-up FIRMAMENT. David O‘Meara’s charge has faced tougher tasks subsequently, including a decent conditions race last time, and can bounce back in this on the evidence of that earlier run having slipped 4lb down the weights since. Restive Spirit wears headgear for the first time and is not out of this but Able Jack, Glory Awaits and stablemate Brittanic all arrive out of form.
