Verdict

Aleef won over 6f at Hamilton recently but this is tougher and he’s yet to score over the minimum trip in 14 previous attempts. LOMU (NAP) won off a higher mark over 7f last summer but has also scored twice over today’s trip and after a recent second at Ayr, he should go close again. Captain Lars does his winning in plating races nowadays and finished in front of third-placed Liberatum in May while Something Lucky remains 6lb higher than when beating Jorvik Prince at Wolverhampton in March and stablemate Fantasy Keeper is preferred.
