      Verdict

Cry Wolf is 2-3 around here including from exactly the same mark over the trip so shouldn't be discounted. Colwood scored over the trip at Lingfield last summer and has been extremely consistent subsequently which is why he's 6lb higher. Grenadier Guard's only victory came on heavy going and he's yet to prove he stays this far but Vexed wasn't beaten far over the track and trip in January and improved over 1m4f at Lingfield so should have enough pace and stamina to get into contention. SOCIAL CITY (NAP) looked one to follow when scoring over 1m6f here and still looked a bit green when narrowly beaten over this trip at Lingfield. He didn't act on Fibresand last time and can go in again.
