There are some choicely-bred newcomers on show here so the market is best watched. Shabeeh had little chance against Seven Heavens in a two-runner race at Goodwood but was undoubtedly disappointing when last of four at Catterick. EL CAP went to Wolverhampton for his debut and did very well to chase home Quinteo over this trip. He looked very much in need of the experience and can go one better. His stable companion Paradise Lake caught the eye on his introduction at Newmarket while Richard Hannon also runs two with Mamdood looking best of the pair. Of the first-timers, the Godolphin entry Fast Landing is bred for the trip as is Flashy Snapper, who is also by Raven's Pass and out of a mare placed in the 1,000 Guineas.
