      Verdict

      Regular front-runner Michele Strogoff is going to get his head in front again sooner or later but faces a demanding assignment at these weights, although the 5lb claim of Theodore Ladd will aid his cause. The combination went close here the last day. Eddie Cochran and My Dear Friend both need to improve on recent efforts, whereas MUHAARAR'S NEPHEW has progressed with each of his three runs and should improve again. It was no disgrace to run up against Dubai Warrior the last day when he had the rest of a 13-runner field comfortably accounted for. Maximum Effect is also coming along nicely and the Gosden filly looks a danger to all.
