      Verdict

      DARK DIAMOND is one of the least exposed and may well improve for the longer trip after a couple of placed efforts over a mile at Southwell. Stradater won at Southwell in January but failed to cope with a 5lb rise last time while Putin finished just ahead of Dandarrell with Tight Lipped well beaten when scoring over a mile here last month and is never easily dismissed at this level. Cherry Street returns from a lay-off but has scope for further progress this year and could still go well off his current mark.
