    Verdict

    There is not much between these at the weights with Amour de Nuit coming out best. But he drops back in trip on his return having shown progressive form over 2m last year. Mymatechris lost his way after winning at last year’s All-Weather Championships and has his first start since June while Nearly Caught and FIRST MOHICAN (NAP) were both well beaten in testing ground in the same Listed contest at Nottingham last time. But the latter had won a decent handicap over today’s distance at Wolverhampton in December and Alan King’s charge gets the vote on that form.
