    Verdict

SEA EMPRESS is held in high regard with several Group 1 entries though returned a beaten favourite in a slowly run Listed contest at Newbury on her reappearance. She can get back on track in what looks a hot novices' race. The Ribblesdale entry Maytal placed at Newcastle on her return and Ryan Moore gets the leg-up while stablemate Swoon is a full-sister to a couple of winners and a half-sister to six others. The Gosden yard also run two with Flaunt related to the Group 1 winner Lillie Langtry while Future cost 800,000gns as a half-sister to Irish Derby winner Latrobe.
