In depth

Verdict

With a couple in here who have led in recent runs it may pay to side with WESTERLAND who can put a couple of disappointing efforts behind him with cheekpieces fitted for the first time today. John Gosden's charge is a half-brother to a number of classy performers and can register a second victory on his fifth racecourse appearance. Cape Bunting had looked a potentially useful performer prior to disappointing in a Listed contest last time out and he can return to form by claiming second here with Amazing Alice taken to finish third on her first attempt at this trip.
