      Verdict

      The Commendatore made a promising start at Kempton and was sent off odds-on for his next outing there but suffered a narrow defeat. He didn't appear to have improved back at the same track last month. Town's History started odds-on for his debut at Wolverhampton early last month but ran green. He was beaten in a three-way photo over a mile and that should be his best trip. Figurante did well to finish runner-up at Windsor in August and the experience will stand her in good stead though the form hasn't worked out. Voices Of Kings was well beaten at Wolverhampton but MARIEE makes her debut and is given the nod. She's the third foal of a middle-distance winner who has produced winners with her first two foals to run and Mark Johnston should have her ready for her debut.
