        Verdict

        A string UK contingent in this year’s renewal led by NEMORALIA. Jeremy Noseda’s filly finished runner-up to previous French 1000 Guineas third Qemah in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot with last Friday’s Falmouth Stakes heroine Alice Springs back in third and Frankie has steered her to all three of her victories to date. Zonderland has the beating of First Selection and Stormy Antarctic on collateral form with Galileo Gold but Zelzal looks a bigger threat representing the home challengers having won a Group 3 at Chantilly last time with Degas back in third. Spectre ran well in the French 1000 Guineas and could figure for Germany.
