In depth

Verdict

Clive Cox has another opportunity here with Poet, who should be winning in Group 2 company before long after his run behind Workforce at Sandown, but he'll need to have improved again to see off BEHKABAD. The selection, a close fourth in the Derby here last year, occupied the same position behind Workforce in the 'Arc and though not seen since third in the Breeders' Cup Turf is in a different league to these at his best. Ley Hunter has run two good races behind Planteur this season, the latest in the Group 1 Prix Ganay, and looks the main threat if the likely favourite needs the run.
