    Verdict

Those who watched THE TIGER turn last week's Pontefract handicap into a procession won't want to miss him here with a 6lb penalty as the assessor is likely to have his revenge. Ed Dunlop's charge was having just his fifth start and with further progress likely he should complete a quick double. Lexington Boy also arrives in winning form having taken advantage of heavy ground to score at York. He's won off a similar mark to this in the past and a strong gallop will play to his strengths. Azrag, twice a winner in Bahrain, has scored twice on Polytrack at Wolverhampton and found the 2m1f trip too far there last time but whether he'll adapt to this surface is another matter. Lifetime was in excellent form in the spring winning at Newcastle and Goodwood and he looks quite capable of a big run from a reasonable mark.
