The Resdev Way and LORD TORRANAGA are both previous course and distance winners. The latter is just 1-30 on Turf but has placed in three of his last four starts around here. Arguably his best recent run came on Tapeta but this won’t take much winning. The Dancing Poet hinted at a revival here last week and Daaris won over the trip at Nottingham last month. Big Cheese could also figure in first-time blinkers while the three-year-old Third Batch won on soft going at Lingfield latest, though this trip is an unknown. Jamih looks best of the rest.
