In a tricky finale, Joshua's Gold is selected ahead of Sedge and Maison Dieu. Bessemer remains well-treated based on his best Turf form of 2005. Million Percent's last Turf win came in 2003. Joshua's Gold is weighted to go well based on his best 2006 Turf form. Maison Dieu has proven capable of going well from around today's mark. Sedge is just two pounds above his Thirsk win of two weeks ago and comes here in good heart. Pay Time has now won three of her last six races but now stands at six pounds above a previous best winning mark. Dispol Katie would hold a big chance based on her best efforts of last summer but more recent runs have lacked the same zest. Compton Plume is knocking at the door from his current rating but it won't quite open as of yet, while course and distance winner No Grouse cannot be ruled out from his current rating. Jellytot is four pounds below a winning mark but recent efforts have lacked sparkle, while Dark Champion could be interesting on a rare foray at seven furlongs. Desert Hunter is also stepping up in trip and money for Divine White could be interesting. The selection, though, is Joshua's Gold.
