    Verdict

    GIT MAKER, a winning point-to-pointer and three-times successful over hurdles, had run well in two previous starts over fences before a convincing course and distance victory on New Year's Day. Runner-up Tupelo Mississippi may get a bit closer on the revised terms but Conquredalofeurope may prove more of a threat. He started favourite for a better race than this at Haydock after a very good run at Wetherby but found 3m4f on soft ground beyond him. Not What It Seems completed a hat-trick over timber last year and made a promising start over fences on the latter track so should be thereabouts.
