Verdict

Mister Don was only beaten a head over 3m at Musselburgh last week. He races off the same mark here and Lorcan Murtagh again takes off 7lb so he has every chance of going one better as the longer trip will play to his strengths. BANKHALL jumped well and stayed on strongly to make a winning start over fences at Wetherby. An 11lb hike in the weights has done him no favours but he drops a grade for this and, with improvement likely, is taken to follow up. Under The Red Sky was just touched off over 2m4f at Newcastle earlier this month but is now 0-14 over the larger obstacles and third Hattons Hill has more scope. Joseph Mercer was scheduled to run yesterday at Wetherby and veteran Urban Gale probably has place claims at best.
