This is not as competitive as the numbers suggest and it should pay to side with Borders who can regain the winning thread. The six-year-old has disappointed of late but the first-time blinkers should help and he is the class act of the race. The Tatling was not disgraced in a hot handicap last time but is basically on the downgrade and, although he can prove too good for the remainder, should not trouble the selection on these terms.
