Hadaj was sent off favourite at Ripon last time but came up short despite beating Green Howard and has yet to win over today's distance. Conry is upped in class off a higher mark after scoring over track and trip while Our Boy Jack finished ahead of Showboating when runner-up over course and distance last month in between a couple of distinctly modest efforts. JUST PAUL makes most appeal as a victory over track and trip made up one of last year's five victories and he returned to winning ways at Musselburgh last time. He hasn't stopped improving yet on that evidence and gets the vote. Laffan is not getting much sympathy from the handicapper so Rachel Richardson's 7lb allowance will help his cause while Mujazif has the past form to figure on his first start for Dandy Nicholls.
