        Verdict

        Poet's Dawn was just beaten over a mile at Ripon before a fair run in a competitive nursery at Newcastle but there’s a worry he’ll find this on the sharp side. Sir Mark Prescott won that Newcastle race with Codicil and could have the answer to this with TUNES OF GLORY (NAP). The Lope De Vega colt hasn’t been disgraced since winning on debut at Lingfield and can get the better of Carlisle winner Bungee Jump. Barford is preferred to Thirsk runner-up El Chapo of the remainder.
