Verdict

The veteran Lucky Beggar was beaten less than a length over track and trip last time and is preferred to Carlovian off his current mark. The latter won at Thirsk last month while Qaaraat went close over the minimum trip at Leicester recently. But several of the three-year-olds are less exposed including Doncaster third Lincoln Gamble and Alex Gracie, placed on the all-weather the last twice. Lady Nectar was narrowly beaten at Beverley but MIDNITE BRIDE found only one too good at Hamilton on her handicap debut when finishing in front of a subsequent winner and Kevin Ryan’s filly may prove the one to side with.
