In depth

Verdict

SUMMER LIGHTENING (NAP) hadn't shown much before powering to victory over the course and distance on New Year's Day. She's only been raised 4lb and the ground could have come right for her again. Miss Amelia could hardly have won more easily at Bangor though that was over fences on heavy going and her stamina isn't certain to come into play here. Let's Sway ran her best race for a while in a Wetherby handicap last time but Destinys Choice makes her handicap debut from a high enough mark. Iconic Code scored on the Flat in October but hasn't shown much in three runs over timber and nor has Milanvera.
