In depth

Verdict

Blakeney Point won a novice hurdle back in July while Penpal scored in France back in May and has joined Micky Hammond’s yard. But the latter also runs STORMIN NORMAN, who carried over his winning form on the Flat to land a maiden hurdle at Sedgefield last month and can defy a penalty with further progress expected here. She's A Dancer is another carrying a penalty having won a mares' only hurdle at Sedgefield while Frimeur De Lancray had a chance of placing when falling at the last over track and trip at the end of last year. Dual bumper winner Let Me Be makes his hurdling debut and Against All Odds has placed in both starts in bumpers.
