In depth

Verdict

Ribeye won twice earlier this year though has needed his opening run in the past but Fearless Action made a bad mistake at the first at Doncaster which put him out of contention after scoring at Kelso. Rocco Storm struggled in the heavy ground at Hexham after scoring on good going at Hexham but Beat The Edge is back on the same mark as when scoring at Wetherby in March. FANFAN DU SEUIL was having only his second start over fences when just failing to concede the winner 26lb at Doncaster, his first start for exactly a year. That wasn't much of a race but a similar effort would probably suffice here.
