Verdict

SHUIL DONN struggled at Cheltenham on last month’s debut for Richard Newland. He made a promising start in a bumper at Cork earlier in the year and will be more at home back at this level. Adelphi Sprite has yet to threaten and one of the newcomers may provide a bigger threat. River Walk belongs to a family of bumper winners while Hermes Le Gris is a half-brother to three winners. Burrows Hall is related to several winners over hurdles and his yard is in good form.
