Verdict

GOATHLAND won easily stepped up to 1m5f at Bath a week ago and Peter Chapple-Hyam's charge can go in again despite a 7lb rise. Solstalla also romped home at Goodwood last time but beat little in a seller and Medina Sidonia looks a bigger threat on his victory over 1m4f at Thirsk in July. Skiddaw Valleys has won a lower grade handicap at Carlisle but is unproven over this longer trip.
