Paul Midgley saddles four of the 12 declared runners in this, including the top three in the weights. Militia has the plum draw but may prefer a softer surface. However, he is still preferred to Longroom, who has a similar recent profile, and Buniann but NIBRAS AGAIN may be the one to be on. Luke Morris’ mount blew his chance at the start at Musselburgh two weeks ago but still gave notice he was on the way back towards the form he was showing in better races last summer. The three-year-old Lezardrieux looks a danger having won three of his last five starts while Astrozone won at Newcastle before finishing third off a higher mark at Beverley.
