Mecca's Mate, Cape Royal and Green Park catch the eye here and Mecca's Mate can follow up a Newmarket win on Thursday. A winner at Thirsk on similar ground in May, Green Park showed signs of a return to that sort of form when a good fourth in a big field at Ascot last time. Racing off a mark four pounds lower than his Thirsk success he is clearly well treated and he will handle the ground. Cape Royal has a six pound turn around for a beating of three lengths by Mecca's Mate on Thursday but an earlier heavy ground success at haydock underlines his liking for the ground and he can go well. Mecca's Mate returned to winning form at Newmarket last time and clearly enjoys the soft ground and the minimum trip. he has a penalty to shoulder here but Mecca's Mate looks fully capable of following up.
