Verdict

MESHARDAL (NAP) has been brilliantly placed by Ruth Carr to win ten races including two around here last year, the latest from this mark. He looked on the way back at Newcastle earlier this month and can return to winning ways. It Must Be Faith scored twice on the all-weather before heading to Guernsey for an amateurs' event which he duly won. He's picked up a penalty which may just hand the initiative to the selection. Spirit Of Wedza was in excellent form last spring and hasn't been beaten far in recent races on Tapeta but Apricot Sky doesn't win often and his victory over three rivals here in October was in a claimer over 5f on soft ground. B Fifty Two once had a mark of 107 and managed to claw back the years at Pontefract last month though he enjoys a bit of cut in the ground these days.
